Whether you are a complete beginner or more advanced yoga practitioner, a one-on-one session provides detailed instruction and hands-on assistance geared towards your individual needs and level. Traditionally this is how yoga was taught. It’s a very effective method to begin a yoga practice or to deepen an existing one.
Asian Fusion Bodywork
Asian Fusion Bodywork® is a highly therapeutic system incorporating a unique blend of soft tissue manipulations, acupressure, yoga assisted stretching, joint mobilization and basic partner balancing. The techniques used are derived from Traditional Thai Massage, Chinese Tui Na and Ayurvedic Modalities from India. Asian Fusion Bodywork® is a natural evolution of my studies in the East. Benefits include improved circulation, mobility and flexibility, stress reduction, may reduce pain and creates a lasting feeling of well being. There is no oil used, client remains fully clothed.
Swedish Relaxation Massage
With the use of oil Swedish massage uses moderate pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and increase general circulation in the body.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be stronger. It is a focused type of massage that works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as “adhesions.”)
Medical Massage Therapy for Injuries
Whether you have an acute muscle injury or a chronic, aching injury Medical massage can help. I use different techniques to relieve muscle spasms, stretch and realign muscle fibers and fascia, break up scar tissue, release old trigger points, and remove waste and debris from injured muscles. This will allow new blood to circulate; bringing in fresh oxygen to cells and tissue. This treatment assists in the healing of the damaged muscle while relieving pain and discomfort.
